Terms of service

1. The service

Tekomata is a web application for small businesses to keep a product catalogue, issue and record invoices, track stock, and manage related records. Features may change as the service develops. Features marked as not yet available are not part of the service until they are released.

2. Your account

You must give accurate information, keep your password secret, and be responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or of legal age to enter into agreements in Indonesia, and authorised to act for the business you register.

3. Your data and your customers' data

The data you enter remains yours. You grant us permission to store and process it only to provide the service. You are responsible for having a lawful basis, including consent where required, for the personal data of your buyers, suppliers and contacts that you enter, and for the accuracy of your invoices and tax obligations. Tekomata invoices are commercial invoices and are not tax invoices (faktur pajak).

4. Acceptable use

• Do not use Tekomata for anything illegal, including selling goods or services prohibited in Indonesia.
• Do not send spam or messages to people who have not agreed to receive them.
• Do not try to access other accounts, disrupt the service, or bypass its limits.
• Do not upload malicious files or content that infringes others' rights.

We may suspend an account that breaks these rules, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.

5. Fees, plans and credit

Some features are paid through prepaid credit or plans shown on the billing page, with prices stated before you pay. Credit is added only after we confirm your bank transfer. Plans last for the period shown and do not renew automatically. Credit does not expire. If you close your account, contact us about any unused credit.

6. Availability

We work to keep Tekomata available and your data safe, but the service is provided as it is and without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Keep your own copies of documents you are legally required to retain.

7. Liability

To the extent Indonesian law allows, Tekomata is not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Ending the agreement

You may stop using Tekomata and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may end the service for an account with notice, or immediately for a serious breach of these terms.

9. Changes to these terms

We will announce material changes by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Tekomata after that means you accept the changed terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. If the Indonesian and English versions differ, the Indonesian version prevails.
